Projection mapping // Videosoundart
This architectural mapping took place on the walls of Castello Visconteo in Abbiategrasso.
Its roots date back to the 13th century and was then completed by Gian Galeazzo Visconti in 1382.
The content of the projection is inspired by a very specific set of tarots, (cards used for games and fortune-telling) which was commissioned in the 15th century by Filippo Maria Visconti.
The Visconti-Sforza tarot deck is the first one to include major arcana and one of the oldest known to exist.
Modern media and the history of the building and its inhabitants came together in a time – travelling suggestion.
